This picture is just after everyone was "matched" with one of us dogs. I wasn't quite sure what that meant, especially since none of us really knew these people. But after this introduction, all of my food, praise, grooming, and all that good stuff started coming from Stan. Pictured here with Stan and I are Flora and Laura (person) on the left, Sherry (person) and JoJo to the right. Behind and to the right of Sherry is Chris who is a lovely lady from Germany and has plans to train assistance dogs when she goes back there in a few months. Steve (person) and Milan are on the far right almost out of the picture.

One of the first things we did after CCI's instructors matched us with our persons was to practice alerting our people. Here I am alerting Stan in one of those practice sessions. I like doing alerts even though it's a bit of work for me sometimes because I get lots of praise and a good snack. Sometimes I even get extra of both.

This is Stan and me kicking back after a long day of class and practice.

This is on one of our class field trips. Stan is buying some Kong toys for me. We had fun playing fetch with them in our dorm room after class that day.
